El-Kanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Abia Warriors in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
The encounter, Matchday 17 was played on Saturday at the El-Kanemi Warriors Sports Center, Maiduguri.
The Desert Warriors took the lead with goals from Yuga and Nasiru Salisu, before the sensational young playmaker, Aminu Obi sealed the win with a sublime free-kick.
Despite missing key players, Warriors adapted strategically, showcasing a fast-paced, attacking style that left the visitors struggling to cope.
The win takes El-Kanemi Warriors to 5th place in the NPFL table with 26 points, and they will be looking to build on this momentum when they face Sunshine Stars in Week 18.
