ENUGU: Boundary demarcation has triggered unrest in a certain community in Enugu State Nigeria whereas the traditional ruler has come out publicly to call on immediate government intervention.
The Monarch complained that his Community’s neighbour had been encroaching on its land and therefore called for a permanent boundary adjustment and demarcation to end frictions between the two communities.
The Traditional Ruler however decried infrastructural decay in his community and called for the provision of schools, roads and hospitals in the area.
The Monarch hinted that his community have good people of sound mind and wealth creation but regretted the low speed of development after the reign of the then Governor Chimaroke Nnamani.
9News Nigeria authoritatively reports that Senator Chimaroke Nnamani was a Fmr governor of Enugu State Nigeria. Ebeano as popularly called hails from the Nkanu region of the state and in his time he brought a Private University and an Air force base in the area.

It is to the interest of government to rush to the area as a matter of urgency to settle the rift between Nkanu East and Nkanu West otherwise negligence over the demarcation as proposed by HRH Igwe Christopher Nwafor will likely lead to anarchy as perceived by our correspondent.
The Monarch of Isienu Amagunze autonomous community in Nkanu East Local Government Area, Igwe Christopher Nwafor has again called on the government of Enugu State to speed up actions to demarcate the boundary between Nkanu East and Nkanu West.
In his words, “the boundary demarcation with Nkanu West would enhance peaceful coexistence between residents of both areas.
While thanking God for making him the first traditional ruler in Nkanu land for whom his community is celebrating Ofala while alive, Igwe Christopher Nwafor maintained that he don’t want anyone’s trouble or misunderstanding between Nkanu West and East.
He told 9News Nigeria that Ofala festival serves as a unifying force and promotion of peace and love in the community. He added that such festive is celebrated for the Monarchs after their death but God made it possible for him to celebrate it while alive.
He pleaded with the government of Enugu State and that of boundary adjustment to come to their rescue without further delay.
