Lere Olayinka, Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media on Monday said the All Progressives Congress (APC) will lose the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti state to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) even if Barack Obama, former president of the United States joins the party.
Reacting to the planned defection of Prince Dayo Adeyeye, a former governorship aspirant of the PDP to the APC following a meeting in Abeokuta with Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Olayinka said nothing can ever change the perception the people of Ekiti state have about the party.
“APC is a very bad product in Ekiti state. Even if they bring Obama, Bill Clinton or bring anybody in the world to come and join the party, they will still lose because it won’t change the image or perception Nigerians have about them”.
