Mama Saratu Yakubu Tukur, Mother to the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, is dead.
Dogara made this known in a statement issued on Friday.
Açcording to him, she died at the age of 103 and survived by great grand children, grand children, and children children.
“We are comforted by the fact that our matriach lived a life of total commitment, dedication and service to God and humanity”

Mr Dogara served as the Speaker of the 8th Assembly. He’s currently the Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo.
