🟢 Dr Ebere Bede Onwujiariri replaces Dr. Oluyemi Akande who had served the College for 9Years from 2015-2024.
Over the weekend in Owerri Imo State Nigeria, the New Rector of Federal College of Land Resources FECOLART in the person of Dr. Ebere Bede Onwuajiriri was officially received by Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi, Hon Ikpamazie alongside other top government functionaries.
The Majority Leader of Imo State House of Assembly and Representative of Owerri West Constituency, Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi therefore expressed satisfaction on the appointment of Dr. Ebere Bede Onwuajiriri as the new Provost of the Federal College of Land Resources Technology, Owerri, FECOLART.
Chief Kanayo made this known when he, alongside other stakeholders of the College were on ground to receive the new Provost, Dr. Onwujiariri at the College Campus, Olaukwu – Oforola in Owerri West Local Government Area.
Chief Onyemaechi who is also an indigene of Olaukwu Autonomous Community in Owerri West Local Government Area being the host Community to the College stated that the appointment of Dr. Ebere Bede Onwujiariri could not have come at a better time than now that stakeholders of the College were yearning for an indigenous Provost as it is the case in other States where such College is situated.
He further emphasized that he has confidence in the ability of the new Provost to drive the College to enviable heights through academic excellence, ensuring harmonious relationships between the College and the host Community as well promoting human resources development amongst others.
The Imo House of Assembly Majority Leader, Chief Onyemaechi on behalf of his family, his Community and Owerri West Constituency congratulated the new Provost and wished him a successful tenure.

nine years between July 2015 and September 2024.
Present to receive the new Provost were the Imo State Commissioner for Housing, Chief Bede Ekeh, the traditional ruler Olaukwu Autonomous Community Eze Apollo Ekeocha, that of Oforola Autonomous Community, Eze Kingsley Ajoku as well as the Lawmaker for Mbaitoli Constituency, Sir Innocent Ikpamezie amongst others.
