
The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation OAGF, has attributed the delay in June salaries to some federal civil servants to a technical network glitch.
The OAGF said the glitch affected salary payments for employees across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs.
In a statement, the Director, Press and Public Relations, Bawa Mokwa, apologized for the inconveniences caused and assured affected employees that individual steps are being taken to resolve the issues.
The OAGF is working closely with relevant service provider and stakeholders to reprocess the failed payments without further delay.
The Office also assured that the welfare of the federal government employees remains a top priority and that no effort will be spared in ensuring everyone receives their rightful salaries.
