Audu Ogbeh, Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, has passed away at the of 78, He died peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2925.
According to statement by the family, Ogbeh served as Minister under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration from 2015-2019, championing agricultural reforms and promoting food security. He also served as National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2001 -2005.

The family described Ogbeh as beloved husband, father, and grand father who touched many lives through his decades of public service. They expressed gratitude to friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for their support and prayers.
Details of the funeral will be announced in due course, while the family has requested privacy as they mourn their patriarch.
