Rose Idibia, the mother of iconic Nigerian Singer Innocent Idibia also known as 2Face or 2Baba, has appealed to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to “free her son, citing his emotional instability during the ongoing divorce from Annie Idibia.
In a video currently trending online, Mrs. Rose Idibia passionately called on Nigerian mothers to join her in pleading with Natasha to leave her son alone.
“Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, the mother of 2Face. This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son”, she said.
She went on to express concerns about her son’s mental state, claiming he is “not in his right senses” because of emotional toll of the divorce proceedings.
“My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his senses now. I know my son well. That is not him”, she continued, alluding to perceived changes in his behavior.
Mrs. Idibia also referenced certain accessories associated with Natasha, stating; Please Natasha, the beads you put on his head and on his neck, remove them and free him”.
This public appeal follows recent viral video where 2Face was seen confirming his relationship with Natasha Osawaru and proposing to her.
The clip has sparked widespread reactions and speculation about the singer’s private life.
The development has left fans and observers divided, some supporting Mrs. Idibia’s concerns, while others question the claims surrounding 2Face’s state of mind and the role of Natasha in the ongoing drama.
