Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has formally declared his support for the Wike-backed Rainbow Coalition, pledging to work for the success of the political alliance ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The governor said he would actively campaign for the coalition, mobilise supporters, and encourage eligible voters to vote for its candidates during the elections.
Fubara also expressed support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and endorsed all Rainbow Coalition candidates in Rivers State, including Rt. Hon. O.K. Chinda as the coalition’s governorship candidate.
He called on his supporters across the state to unite behind the coalition and give their full backing to all its candidates to ensure victory at the polls.
The declaration is expected to influence the political landscape in Rivers State as political parties and stakeholders intensify preparations for the forthcoming elections.
