A mild drama occurred yesterday in the quiet community of Abatete in Anambra state between Fulani herdsmen and vigilante members. According to a video footage posted online, the Fulani herdsmen abandoned their cows and properties after sighting members of the vigilante group who arrived their camp in a bush.
It was reported that the Vigilante members called them back for a ‘friendly talk’ but they refused.
They took to their heels over fear of risking their lives.
The vigilantes removed their camp as they said they don’t want the herdsmen in their land to avoid trouble.
