Gomal Baptist College Alumni Reunite, Inaugurate New Central Executives held On Saturday December 21 2024 at Ogbomos Oyo State Nigeria.
The Event witnessed outgone students of about 20years ago, from the inception the school was established year 2001.
The Outgoing President of the Alumin Mr Olaitan Bello Bello in opening remarks welcome Distinguished guests, esteemed alumni and fellow old students present and online expressing is great pleasure to welcome everyone to the event
He reiterated that is a celebration of shared history, collective achievements, and individual successes
He emphasized that he feels honored to have served as the President of this association.
Mr Bello believes today’s gathering is not just reconnecting with old friends and classmates; but also celebrating a shared experience that has shaped every member into the individuals they are today.
Our time at Gomal was a defining period in our lives, a time of growth, learning, and discovery. And as we reunite, we are reminded of the bonds that unite us, the memories that we hold dear, and the values that we cherish.
This reunion is a testament to the enduring spirit of our alma mater and the strong connections that we formed during our time here.
He charged alumini members to look into the future, reminding them the importance of staying connected, supporting one another, and of giving back to the community.
Today’s gathering will give the opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new connections, and reminisce about old times. We will also have the chance to reflect on our experiences, share our stories, and learn from one another, we would also be recognizing the effort of some of the past staff of Gomal Baptist College and as instituted in our sacrosanct constitution, induction of some honorary members of the association will take place. And as we do so, let us remember the values that our alma mater instilled in us: values of excellence, integrity, and service.As your President, I am committed to ensuring that this reunion is a memorable and enjoyable experience for all of us. Our team has worked tirelessly to organize a program that is both nostalgic and forward-looking, and I am excited to share it with you. Let me use this opportunity to specially thank the reunion planning committee, I know the efforts you have put in place to make this program a success. My appreciation would not be complete without a mention of the wonderful work done by our electoral committee (The INEC of GOSA). In his acceptance speech he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing administration for their dedication and the solid foundation they’ve laid, He believes that their efforts have brought the alumni to this point.
He also thank the electoral committee, for a transparent and seamless process upholding the values of fairness and integrity, and to all stakeholders present he appreciates their commitment and for honoring this gathering, your presence shows the strength and unity of our association.
The President believes as he assume this role he promised to stand guided by the core values that define us: accountability, diversity and inclusion, and mutual respect. These principles will serve as the backbone of everything we do moving forward.

Our association is brimming with talent—brand managers, UI/UX designers, product designers, IT experts, lecturers, and more. Let’s leverage this wealth of knowledge to create avenues for collaboration and growth.
Finance
Transparency will be key. We’ll explore sustainable strategies to strengthen our finances while ensuring accountability and trust in how resources are managed.
Finally, ayour president, I pledge to keep an open door. Your ideas, concerns, and feedback will always be welcomed. This is not my administration—it’s ours.
