Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has paid a condolence visit to former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, following the death of her husband, Anthony Niyi Adeosun.
Abiodun disclosed the visit in his official X account on Sunday, describing the late Anthony Adeosun as respected businessman and devoted Christian who lived a life of faith, service and commitment to his family.
The governor prayed for God to comfort and strengthen the family during the difficult period and asked for eternal repose of the deceased.

It will be recalled that Mr. Adeosun died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 62.
The Adeosun family had earlier announced Niyi’s death in a statement issued by Rev. C.A. Adeosun on behalf of the family.
