The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and other members of the Progressives Governors Forum on Wednesday joined their Ondo State counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu for the ground finale of the APC gubernatorial election campaign rally in Akure ahead of the forthcoming election in the state.
Governor Bello who was in the state to drum support for Akeredolu ahead of the election, urged Kogi residents in the state and the people of Ondo in general to re-elect Governor Akeredolu by voting APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the sunshine state.
Bello who arrived Ondo State on Tuesday was received by mammoth crowd and assured the people that Governor Akeredolu will consolidate on his first term achievements.
While speaking at the ground finale, Governor Bello expressed the optimism that the incumbent governor of Ondo State will be victorious at the poll.
He called on the people of the Sunshine state never to make the mistake of casting their precious vote for the PDP noting that the incumbent governor had already laid the foundation for the state’s prosperity.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday, October 10 for the Ondo governorship election.
Some other personalities who were on ground to drum support for the re-election of Governor Akeredolu include the Governors of Kano, Plateau, Kaduna, Kebbi, Yobe, Osun, Ekiti, Lagos, Jigawa, Imo and others.
