Governor Meets With NMA, Reassures Commitment To Better Health Sector In The State

IMO: His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodinma has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improve the health sector and wellness of the generality of Ndi Imo.

Uzodinma made this speech at the National Executive Council meeting and scientific conference of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), held in Owerri.

While commending NMA for joining the league of organized and professional institutions who have had their conferences in Owerri, Imo state Nigeria, the Governor hinted that such conference held in Imo state alongside many others is a symbolic signification of how peaceful and functional the state has been.

In addition, Uzodinma encouraged the Nigeria Medical Association NMA as a professional body to do everything possible to uphold the oath which they took to save lives.

Recall that the state of insecurity was high in virtually all the states in the south East region sometime ago, but the effort put in place to curb the menace is a testament that people can traverse freely and host their events against all odds, as 9News Nigeria reports.

Sources revealed to our correspondent that Imo state government under Governor Uzodinma has in this direction invested both enormous resources and manpower in making sure that insecurity in Imo state is reduced drastically mostly as the Ember Month season has just set in today.

While hosting the NMA in Owerri, the Governor used the opportunity to list the numerous achievements of the shared prosperity administration in the Health Sector and reiterated of his redoubled effort to do more to the benefit of Ndi Imo.
