It was a special sunday service held at victory chapel Government House Owerri wherein the number one citizen of the state His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma and wife wife Chief Barr mrs Chioma Uzodinma were present among other dignitaries.

9News Nigeria reports that it was a captivating message shared today by Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Gilbert Alaribe, at the Victory Chapel, Government House Owerri.

However the message drew the attention to the availability and attentiveness of a steward to their purpose in this spiritual journey.

The reading from the first Kings 19:16-21 highlighted the willingness and sacrifices of an individual, Elisha, to the purpose of God and how powerful he became in history. Further Scriptural reading from Galatians 5:1-18 reminded us of how our salvation sets us free. Freedom that we should not take for granted but use as an opportunity to love and serve our neighbours.

As Christians, our redemption puts us on an extraordinary path with the Holy Spirit and we should stay faithful to it. It is that freedom and understanding of whose we are that sets us apart and gives us hope to carry on the journey.

May the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to renew us and His power living in us, be properly used to the Glory of our Father. Amen.
