IMO: Concerned stakeholders and political pundits in Owerri including electoral populace across political partylines have warned 2027 Guber mascuraders jostling for Governor Uzodinma’s anointing from to desist forthwith.
This call came as a matter of importance for Imolites to allow Governor Uzodinma work for the state in his second term Journey.
Those beclouding Imo government House with 2027 governorship interest are doing no good to the state than raising unnecessary dust to extend in an erratic and uneven course as 9News Nigeria reports.
Crowding of Government House Owerri for the 2027 talk with Governor Hope Uzodinma is a heavy distraction from his 3R Shared Prosperity policy plan for the state.
The re-election of Governor Hope Uzodinma is to improve Imo state and better the lives of Imo citizens. This cannot be achievable with the distractions coming from various political camps on who to anoint as Uzodinma’s successor in the 2027 Governorship Election.
Accordingly, the clamour for the choice of successor will come from various political parties and not only from the leading All Progressives Congress APC party that brought him to power.

Though every political party have the right to participate in the process of the Guber contest for 2027, the zone is expected to bring strong hands to defeat their rivals from other political zones.
Again, verifiable information gathered from government insiders hinted that the incumbent Governor will present an Owerri zone Governor to the general acceptability of the entire Electorates.
The sources told 9News Nigeria in confidence that the next Governor that will succeed Uzodinma will emerge from Owerri Zone.
However, the heat given to this clamour can make the Governor lose focus on his re-election promises while chasing shadows of whom to anoint as successor.
The crowds coming close to the government house on this 2027 interest rate should desist henceforth to allow the governor work in this second term as he has promised Imolites.
Going through Governor Uzodinma’s re-election policy plan , Imolites will marvel at his unwavering records if given the required chance to work.
Another reliable source told 9News Nigeria Owerri that Governor Hope Uzodinma is yet to be sworn into second term and people from all works of life are disturbing him with the choice of 2027 Guber candidate.

Meanwhile, toward the time of Gubernatorial lobbying, political parties will do the needful and the contest will set.
It is expected of the generality of Imo East ie Owerri zone politicians to go back home and plan themselves better to align with the Charter of Equity and decide on the best candidates to feature and unanimously choose one out of all to present for the race when the time comes.
The cold war that is brewing over Uzodinma’s plan on power shift to Imo East 2027 should not shut the door of quality governance Imo people desired.
Uzodinma has several times announced to cede power to Imo East in 2027. The Owerri zone en-bloc comprising of about nine local governments have to sit up and go for shopping to shutdown the mouth of all opposing forces nursing interest in the 2027 Imo state Governorship Election.
Apart from the cold war going on in the state political circle, All Progressives Congress, APC has ensued among some potential Guber aspirants and their supporters.
The National Vice Chairman of South East of the African Democratic Party, ADC Hon Chilos confirmed the statement of governor Uzodinma ceding power to Owerri zone as sacrosanct. Regrettedly, the ADC Boss hinted that Governor Hope Uzodinma does not have the capacity to win any election in Imo state in a free, fair and transparency process while stating that he has studied Uzodinma as someone that cannot keep to his promise.
A stalwart of people’s mandate party PMP in Imo state also affirmed the declaration of Imo charter of equity as none existent on the basis that Isu nation in Orlu must have their fair share of the equity before it goes to Owerri zone as chanted.
