Hon Tony Okechukwu Nwoye has attracted another road project to Anambra state. He has used his goodwill to attract the construction of Ukpo link road. The roads is about 2.2killometers.
The road is an erosion prone area which has forced many house onwers and residents of that axis to relocate abandoning their homes. There is a huge gully erosion which submerged many houses along that axis.
The road when completed will help control the effect of the erosion. This is coming at a time gov Obiano said he is looking for 150 billion naira to fix the roads in the state.
Hon Tony Nwoye has shown love for his people by not waiting for gov Obiano. He is using his goodwill to attract the federal government to do most of the roads in Anambra state. 9news correspondent gathered that the officials of the Federal Ministry of Works had inspected the road few days ago and work is expected to commence as soon as final approval is gotten from the relevant authorities.
Presently, Tony Nwoye is not holding any political office now but he is attracting projects to his people. He has a road in his town at Nsugbe that’s presently under construction.
This is the major reason the failure of Obiano and APGA govt is not noticed. Individuals with goodwill are no longer living the development of the state in the hands of this failed APGA govt.
