As Concerned PDP stakeholders restrategise’s to rebuild the party back to track.

A group of like minds under the aegis of the Concerned Stakeholders Of The Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State convened on Friday, the 14th of July, 2023 at Casamero suites, Awka to discuss the way forward after a what many would describe as a disappointing general election for the party in the state.
Speaking to the press by the convener of the group, Engr. Igwe Chigozie, who stated during his address that the purpose of the coming together of these men of like minds is to review the state of the PDP in Anambra State.
Speaking further; Engr. Chigozie, who was the former PDP chairman of Ekwusigo Local government area in Anambra disclosed that members of this group where carefully convened and are all people who are like minds in the affairs that concerns the growth and development of PDP at all levels in the state.
These people are committed to sacrificing towards rebuilding and rescuing the party from what is left of after the last general election and hence we are here to chart the way forward with our resources for the party that started here in Anambra through our own brother, Sir Alex Ekwueme of the blessed memory. He Said.
In Conclusion; He therefore urged the public to stand firm and watch out how the Concerned PDP stakeholders will bring Hope for the party and take up it’s original responsibility as a major opposition party in keeping the current government of Anambra State in checks through constructive criticism.
Meanwhile, a couple of prominent faces within the party which includes the State Admin. Secretary of the PDP in Anambra, Prince Casmir Ajulu, who was in attendance in the meeting affirmed optimism in the group idea. stating carefully that such forum has been welcomed in the past and will be welcomed at the moment so as to help the party at this important time of history.
Also, the Former Deputy State Chairman, Hon. Okey Aslo hailed the wonderful motive of the group and admonished that for PDP to grow; party members must imbibe the spirit of party loyalty and self discipline.
However, at the conclusion of the meeting, a number of resolutions was made and a communique was raised to address critical issues concerning the state of the party in Anambra State.

COMMUNIQUE Of THE ANAMBRA CONCERNED PDP STAKEHOLDERS.
The concerned PDP STAKEHOLDERS met on the 14th of July at CASAMERO SUITE Awka to review the state of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State and the following observations were made :
(1) That the party has being in disarray since after the primary and general elections as a result of party leaders allowing individual interests to override party interest.
(2) That the problems in the party is as a result of some actions and inactions of our leaders from the National to the state level.
(3) That the aforementioned issues have lead to disillusionment within the party at all levels and we therefore resolved as follows:
(i) That we are going to make wider consultations among the party members and Stakeholders to find a workable solution towards bringing the party back to life again.
(ii) That the concerned PDP STAKEHOLDERS should go back to their various local government and identify those who are still committed to the party and engineer the process of rebuilding the party.
(iii) That the issues that surround the non formation of the State Executive of the party will also be looked into and all necessary actions must be taken to make sure that a state executive is put in place to give direction and sanity to the party.
(iv) That we must do our best to reposition PDP in Anambra state in order to make it attractive and also to acquire the capacity to provide the needed opposition to the government in power.
