Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, has stated that his marriage to his wife, Priscilla Ojo, was a love-at-first-sight story.
Recall that Juma Jux married Priscilla Ojo earlier this year, and the couple welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24, 2025.
9news Nigeria reports that Juma, during an interview with Yanga FM Lagos, said he did not know about Priscillia’s celebrity status until the news of their wedding made headlines on blogs.
Juma Jux revealed that he met Priscilla in Rwanda, fell in love with her for her looks.
According to the musician, he decided to marry Pris after discovering her excellent communication skills and other qualities.
He said, “I met Priscilla in Rwanda. I didn’t know she was a celebrity. When I saw her, it was love-at-first-sight. I was like, ‘Wow! This girl is beautiful, I like her.’
“And after we had conversations, I figured out that she is the one I would marry. It was love-at-first-sight to be honest. Even after many meetings, I still didn’t know she was a celebrity until I hosted her in Zanzibar and blogs carried it.”
The singer admitted that marrying Priscilla has positively impacted his career, particularly by increasing his fanbase in Nigeria and West Africa.
