American YouTuber and entrepreneur, James Stephen Donaldson, popularly known as Mr Beast has initiated a new challenge, involving locking two strangers in a room for ninety days, proposing a juicy deal to split £400,000 in cash.
Mr Beast latest task involves two strangers, named Suzie and Bailey, with the challenge being tagged as ‘disturbing’ by viewers.
Speaking in a video posted on his X handle, he said that if the pair could spend the next “100 days” in there, he will pay them half a million dollars, adding that a failure to reach the proposed milestone would results to no earning.
The duo are in a cube-like room, containing two beds, a private bathroom, no windows and enough food to last them 100 days.
According to the procedures of the challenge, the pair were required to eat plain chicken each day.
Meanwhile, Mr Beast would be present every ten days throughout the challenge to lure them with extra prizes, cash winnings and tastier food including treats, again, at a cost.
Although, the pair turned down tempting offers in Day 20, they eventually cracked on the 30th Day, purchasing the entire Harry Potter book collection and a coffee machine for $20,000 (£15,700).
In the video Mr Beast posted on May 20, Suzie and Bailey were seen splitting and each walking away with $250,000 (£196,000).
The video had amassed a thrilling 50 million views and over 5,000 comments from viewers.
Mr Beast is an American YouTuber and philanthropist, known for his high-production videos, which features complicated challenges, including enticing giveaways.
He is the most-subscribed individual on YouTube with over 261 million subscribers.
According to Forbes, Mr Beast has an estimated net worth of $500 million.
