Former Nigerian minister, Ali Isa Pantami has expressed confidence in emerging victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Gombe State.
Pantami, who spoke on Sunday, said several opinion polls conducted both physically and online placed him ahead of other contenders in the race.
According to the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, he emerged first in all 13 polls conducted ahead of the APC governorship primary.
“I’m optimistic about winning the Gombe APC Governorship primary because I relied on strong evidence, not opinion. This evidence includes polls conducted both physically and online, among which I emerged as number one in all 13 polls,” Pantami said.
The former minister’s declaration follows growing political consultations and alignments ahead of the 2027 governorship race in Gombe State.
