IBB owes N152m, Tambuwal N18m for Abuja plots – Wike’s aide reveals

Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, has revealed that 9,532 individuals owe money for land allocated to them in Abuja.

Posting on his Facebook page, Olayinka wrote: “9532 people owing on lands allocated to them in Abuja.

“A few days ago, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCDA) published a list of of 9,532 alleged land title debtors in Abuja.

“They have two weeks to settle their bills.

“Among those listed as defaulters is former Military Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babagida (IBB), who owes N152 million for a plot in Asokoro.

“Other notable defaulters, include Former governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom, who owes N950,000 for a plot of land in Bazango, and Senator Aminu Tambuwal, Senator representing Sokoto South, who owes N18 million for land in Carraway Dallas.

Under Wike leadership, the Federal Capital Development Agency (FCDA) has been carrying out demolitions and land revocations in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
