Int’l Co-ordinator, Igbo Leadership Intercessors Worldwide, Evangelist Samuel Ezeji has called on IGBO LEADERS and Politicians to unite and stop building gallows against each other.

The Coordinator made this call in a summit held recently to address the challenges in Governance as it affects the Igbos.

Ezeji pointed out that when Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”

He however expressed sadness on the experience of Zeresh and the husband Haman in the book of Esther is playing out in some Igbo leaders.

In his words, “Zeresh had earlier known the value of the Jews, what the Jews were made of, but she failed to tell the husband who was planning along with her to destroy the Jews.

Referenced in the book of Esther 5:14.”Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows be made, fifty cubits high, and in the morning suggest to the king that Mordecai be hanged on it; then go merrily with the king to the banquet.” And the thing pleased Haman; so he had the gallows made.”

Unfortunately, when it was late she revealed the power of the Jews and the danger of hurting a Jew to the husband.

In his words, “It is said that some of our Igbo leaders are allowing the spirit of Zeresh to reign in their life over the issue of the Igbos in Nigeria.

“These crops of Igbo leaders are not doing Nigeria any good at all.

“They know the favour the Igbos enjoy in God and they know the danger therein to hurt an Igbo man or woman.

“And they are going about either keeping silent over the treatment of the Igbos in Nigeria or supporting the atrocities being committed against the Igbos.

“We want to bring to the attention of such Igbo leaders, what Mordecai told Esther in Esther 4:13-14 “And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews.

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish.

“Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Beloved Igbo leaders, this is the message for you at this time. As it is said, a word is enough for the wise. So, watch what you are doing now as to save yourself, your generation and the generation of unborn Igbos.

“May the name of our God be glorified forever and ever in Jesus name. Amen! Every power deceiving Nigeria not to maximise and appreciate the potentials of the Igbos, which will be useful for the development of Nigeria nation, shall continue to grumble in Jesus name”

Hon Ezeji pleaded for the sharing of this message with all Igbo leaders to make a good country.
