I have seen pictures of many Igbos crying that their houses are being demolished and I begin to wonder when are we going to learn.
There is a popular Igbo adage which says “Aku Ruo Ulo, Amara Onye Kpatara ya”.
Igbos should know that their wealth is more save, secure at home than any other places. You might think that you are still young and don’t have any reason to invest at home but one day, reality of life will hit you.
There are many opportunities in Igbo land, our people should try to tap into these opportunities. Let’s make Igbo land great by developing it.
We cannot be building mansions, factories, in other cities when some Igbo youth are jobless.
I hope others will learn from the mistakes some Igbos by not investing in Igbo land but if they don’t want to learn, it will only take time for them to realise the importance of developing your land.
