All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders of Ijaw extraction in Delta State have resolved to support President Muhammadu Buhari in his bid for a second term in office.

This may have put paid to the perceived disunity among the APC members from the bloc .

At an enlarged meeting of APC leaders and members from Warri South – West , Patani , Bomadi , Burutu , Warri North , Warri South councils , APC leader, Hon. George Timinimi, said the Ijaw nation would fair better under a Buhari government .

A communiqué signed by Timinimi , Theodore Ezonfade , Denbo Oweikpodor , Victor Ebikabowei , Alphonsus Feh , Michael Johnny, Collins Eselemo and others, the party agreed to work for the re-election of Buhari in 2019.
“ The Ijaw of APC in Delta State pledge their unalloyed support for the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election , due to his administration ’s monumental achievements in infrastructure , economy, people- oriented programmes for the vast majority and the anti – corruption crusade .
