Minister of Works, Engineer Dave Umahi has replied to Governor Seyi Makinde over the issue of Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Cost Per Kilometer ask by ARISE TV Anchor Rufai Oseni.
He was asked by Newsmen when he was Inspecting the Major road construction in Ebonyi, he said
“I don’t want to exchange words with Governor Seyi Makinde, but I believe he’s an engineer or rather, an electrician, sorry, they call it ‘elect elect.’
He knows nothing about road construction.
I’m his senior both in governance and in engineering practice.
So, if there’s anything he doesn’t understand, he should call me and ask.
He should also withdraw the statement that I’m ‘dancing around’ because I never did.
