It was a memorable outing and feasting for the family and friends of the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Dr Hope Uzodinma on His 66th Birthday celebration anchored at the state bouquet IMSG.
The birthday feast took place at the State Bouquet, Government House Owerri where creme-de-la of notable personalities came to celebrate with the governor including top government functionaries, state governors, senators, state executive council members, appointees of government and members of the public.
9News Nigeria Government House correspondent reports that the event kicked off from the popular Sam Mbakwe airport wherein top government functionaries trooped out to welcome the governor.
Investigation reveals that Imo Governor Hope Uzodinma has been a lot busy on various official national assignments and state governance coupled with numerous APC party assignments under his watch.
His shuttling to and fro Abuja is not for mere fun and merry making but to perform his official assignments as chairman progressive governor’s forum and also the zonal chairman of Governor’s forum as 9News Nigeria investigated.
Uzodinma’s 66th birthday activities was garnished with a pre-memorial schedule which included a super novelty football match between the State Executive Council and the Honorable members of Imo State House of Assembly IMHA.
Recall that in that football match played at Dan Anyiam stadium Owerri, the majority Leader IMHA, Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi Featured the number -9 Jersey alongside his co team mates at the game.
It was therefore a night of celebration on 12th December, 2024, as family, friends from near and far, and people of goodwill gathered at the dinner party in the State Banquet Hall, Imo State Government House, Owerri, to celebrate the 66th birthday of my husband, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, CON.
Speaking shortly after Governor Uzodinma’s birthday at the state banquet, the first lady of Imo state, Chief Barr (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodinma, FIMC, CMC expressed joy all over her, for such a shower of love by dignitaries from all works of life on his husband onwa Ndi Imo.
Barr Uzodinma is presently the Founder of GoodHope Flourish Foundation, and Secretary of Renewed Hope Initiative coupled with her responsibility as the first lady of Imo state Nigeria.
In her words, “We honoured his exceptional qualities: a loving, visionary, and extraordinary persona. We also celebrated his outstanding achievements and the profound impact he has made on Imo State and beyond.

Governor Hope Uzodinma hosted the creme of personalities that attended his birthday ceremony in cheers and super administration while praying for journey mercies to their respective locations.
