Imolites have continued to express profound appreciation to the administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma for his unwavering commitment toward strengthening security operations and enhancing peace across Imo State through the establishment and reorganization of the Imo Security Organization with functional zonal command structures.
In a joint statement issued by the Zonal Commanders representing Orlu, Owerri, and Okigwe Senatorial Zones, the security chiefs sincerely thanked Governor Uzodinma for the confidence reposed in them through their recent appointments and elevation to strategic leadership positions within the state security framework.
According to the commanders, the development represents not only a recognition of their dedication and years of service, but also a renewed call to greater responsibility in supporting the government’s ongoing efforts to combat insecurity and sustain peace across communities in Imo State.
The statement further noted:
“This elevation is a clear demonstration of Governor Hope Uzodinma’s commitment to effective security governance and grassroots intelligence coordination. We consider this appointment a motivation to intensify our dedication, professionalism, and operational efficiency in the discharge of our responsibilities.”
The commanders assured the government and people of Imo State of their readiness to deploy modern security strategies, intelligence-driven operations, community policing initiatives, and inter-agency collaboration aimed at improving safety and protecting lives and property throughout the three senatorial zones.
They further reaffirmed their total solidarity and loyalty to the administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma, describing him as a visionary and indefatigable leader committed to the progress, stability, and shared prosperity of Imo State.
The statement recalled that a few months ago, several officers of the Imo Security Organization were honored and decorated with distinguished security service awards by the Governor in recognition of their contributions toward peace-building and community security across the state.
The zonal commanders also extended heartfelt appreciation to political leaders, stakeholders, traditional institutions, and citizens from Owerri West, Owerri Zone, Orlu Zone, and Okigwe Zone for their support, encouragement, and acceptance of their appointments.
They pledged to uphold the ethics, discipline, and operational values of the Imo Security Organization while working collaboratively with other security agencies to strengthen security architecture and ensure lasting peace within their respective jurisdictions.
