For the restoration of public confidence in government, Imo people have shown support to the total recovery of public facilities from individual hands to restore the needed dignity of the state.
9News Nigeria reveals that in Imo state, the common desire of the people is to see their Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma succeed in his works targeted at making Imo State better.
It further revealed that Imo people who have suffered bad leadership accompanied by abuse of power, lust for citizens’ lands and properties, diversion and conversion of public funds into private ownership and many more in the past, look up to the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodinma as he has in his actions demonstrated that he has come to change the ugly narratives that militated the growth and development of Imo State.
Report has it that Imo people want their Governor, Hope Uzodinma to succeed in recovering and returning back to the people their lands and properties that were illegally and forcefully taken away in the past by few people who were privileged to be in the corridor of power.
For most Imo people, if the Governor succeeds in this, he has earned a pass mark in his service to the State.
It has therefore become obvious that Imolites are eagerly supporting Hope Uzodinma if not for any other thing but to continue with the uncommon transformation going on in the state as never been witnessed before.
It will be an interesting option for the APC led Government under Uzodinma to go ahead and recover all he has promised Imo people to establish a new narrative in the leadership atmosphere.
