Recent conversations on what is expected of the 21st century Legislature has begun to form the focal point of national discourse on Political matters.  In Nigeria many factors distort the course of the true fundamental purposes of representative democracy and the legislative system.

As Nigeria’s  2023 general elections draw closer, the citizenry have escalated their clamour for pragmatic legislative representation to meet up with the demands of the economy.

For the Legislature to be deemed good, they must execute the functions we expect of them in our system of representative democracy. The pivotal roles are but not limited to balancing power, representing constituencies , making laws and more recent demands of facilitation of infrastructural and empowerment projects.

Asides the need for more pragmatic representation, the urgency to put an end to political marginalisation in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal constituency has continued to present itself.  In clear, well spelt out terms, that ‘Isuikwuato may finally get the opportunity to represent both local governments at the green Chambers after  16 good years’. To say the least the politics of zoning is likely to make or mar the 2023  house of Representatives election in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi as demands for equity, fairness and justice remain a contentious issue.

While political pundits and Electorates ruminate their thoughts and permutations on the most suitable candidate to represent them at the green chambers , illustrious son of Abia-North, Chief Amobi Ogah stands out as the best candidate to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi at the Federal House of Representatives come 2023.

The pragmatic intellectually driven Amobi  possesses the unrivalled characteristics that makes him the perfect one to change the face of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi.

Chief Amobi at the House of Representatives will provide a broad spectrum for civic engagement which is broader than political engagement because it will include service to the constituency through involvement in health, education, infrastructure, employment, sponsoring of people-oriented bills and Agriculture.

Based on the popular demand of his constituents, the accomplished business entrepreneur and political juganut attempted in 2019 Citing his capacity and doggedness to return power to his  our constituency. However , in the spirit of sportsmanship and rare display of non-political desperation he heeded to the call of elders to withdraw and support the incumbent.

However 2023, will definitely be a game changer. Competent sources revealed that Chief Amobi will make a big comeback based on the popular mandate of his constituents.

Amobi over the years has proven his mettle in his ability to provide his constituents with the qualitative representation that they deserve this is asides the fact he remains the most competent candidate to complete the gaps of marginalisation and also  provide the  qualitative leadership for his constituents.

The successful young entrepreneur is an employee of labour. Amongst other companies he is the Chairman Pauli-Mama group which has over 3000 direct and indirect workers. The company has interests in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Trading and Food and Fashion.

His lightning speed political career and massive influence in the APC makes us realize that his ambition to rescue the people is a divine assignment which no man born of a woman can stop. He has gained massive acceptance from the people of both Local Governments.
Amobi’s eventual election into the House of Representatives come 2019 will elevate the status of the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi into the league in the area of political participation in which about 1.6 percent of parliamentarians are youths .

Chief Amobi at the House of Representatives will provide a broad spectrum for civic engagement which is broader than political engagement because it will include service to the constituency through involvement in health, education, infrastructure, employment, sponsoring of people-oriented bills and Agriculture.

While the nation continues to applaud President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to append his signature to the amended Electoral Bill represented to him by the National Assembly, The onus lies on the good people of Isuikwuato/Umuneochi constituency take advantage of this golden opportunity to choose a leader in Amobi Ogah to preside over the Federal constituency at the Nation’s Green Parliament.
