Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has openly addressed long standing public participations about his personal life, saying he has changed his ways.
The singer made the statement on Thursday in Benin City during the MCEdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and legends show, moments before stepping on stage to perform.
Speaking directly to the audience, 2Baba said he now feels to speak openly wherever he goes in order to set the record straight.
“I get confession, I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to correct things. I don stop to dey do that kind thing. I don stop to dey give belle anyhow”, he said in Pidgin English.
The award-winning artiste has often been in the public spotlight over the years due to reports of relationships with multiple women and having children outside his marriage.
2Baba’s first known relationship was with Sumbo Adeoye, with whom he has two sons -Zion and Nino. He later had three children with Pero Adeniyi between 2006 and 2012.
With his former wife, actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, the singer shares two daughters. The couple, who married in 2012 reportedly divorce in 2025.
And recently, 2Baba welcomed a child with his current partner, Natasha Osawaru, a relationship that has continued to attract public attention following reports of controversial marriage.
