Jonathan’s former spokesperson defects to APC

UGHELLI—FORMER Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ima Niboro, has defected to All Progressives Congress, APC, in his home state of Delta.

Niboro, a former Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, defected to the APC at his country home in Ovwian, Delta State, during a courtesy visit on him by the leadership of the party from Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

“I joined the APC to bring development to Ughelli South,” Niboro told the gathering, led by the party’s chairman in the council, Brighton Obiokor.

Urging the people of the area to support President Muhammadu Buhari, Niboro said: “The opposition will not serve the people of Ughelli South. We must work together to achieve synergy to save our communities from infrastructural deficits. No single level of government can do it alone. I joined the APC to bring that synergy between the three arms of government so that we can achieve development.”
