Jude Okoye, the former manger and elder brother to the music group, P-Square has explained his own side of the story bordering on the ongoing feud between Peter and Paul – P-Square.
This comes after Peter popularized as Mr P revealed that he was being swindled by Jude, alleging that he discovered a secret company called Northside Music, founded by Jude and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye used in carrying out the act.
According to Mr P, the company bore a similar name to P-Square’s official management company, Northside Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Jude has denied these claims during an Instagram live session, explaining the real reason the group split.
Concerning the company, he stated that Peter was aware of the company back in 2013, “Northside Music is not a secret company.”
Jude further highlighted that he had not been involved with P-Square since 2016.
“I’ve not been with P-Square for the past eight years, since 2016”. He said.
He added that Paul, popularized as Rudeboy initiated the split, insisting that all proceeds be shared amicably.
Jude also claimed that in 2021, when the duo attempted to reunite, he suggested that dialogue with Peter and Paul to discuss their future as a group.
“When I asked for us to resolve the issues, Peter said no, that ‘let bygones be bygones’,” he said.
However, just as Mr P is expected to make more revelations, Jude also vowed to share some documents and say more on Monday.
