JUST IN: EFCC Arrests Vote Buyers in Ongoing Edo Governorship Election

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives were present to monitor the ongoing Edo State Governorship Election on September 21, 2024.

Reports indicate that EFCC officials apprehended a group of individuals involved in vote buying and promptly arrested them.

The EFCC operatives, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police, have taken proactive measures to prevent any form of vote buying by political parties participating in the election.

The EFCC operatives have successfully detained suspected vote buyers, with the assistance of Nigeria Police officers.
