His Excellency The Executive Governor of Benue State Rev.Fr.Dr.Hyacinth Iormem Alia, while congratulating the Former Nigeria’s Head of state at 90 Years of age says, the Ex-Military leader deserves all the goodwill messages and accollades from Nigerians.
Speaking Via a press statement release by Sir Kula Tersoo,the governor’s chief press secretary,the Governor says, considering his dedication, years of service to fatherland, as well as his clamour for unity and peace in the country, General Gowon deserves all the good wishes and accolades from Nigerians and people all over the world, on his special day.
While calling on leaders in the country to tap from the wisdom of Gowon and his peers for ensuring the country stays together, Governor Alia urges all Nigerians to unite and work diligently towards creating a resilient nation that future generations will be proud of.
He wishes the nonagenarian good health, more strength and God’s protection as he continues to positively impact in lives.
The governor concluded by saying; “on behalf of the good people of Benue State, I join millions of Nigerians to celebrate an elder statesman and a former Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, GCFR, as he clocks 90 years.
