OWERRI — The member representing Owerri West State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, , has called on residents to embrace unity, love and peaceful coexistence as they step into the month of July.
In his New Month message to constituents, the lawmaker expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and urged the people of Owerri West to renew their commitment to building a stronger and more united constituency anchored on mutual respect, tolerance and collective progress.
Onyemaechi said July should serve as a period of reflection and renewed dedication to the values of sacrifice, compassion and support for the less privileged, stressing that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation.
He also appealed for greater political harmony across the three geopolitical blocs of Owerri West—Arah, Umunwoha and Oche—describing them as one family whose unity remains essential to the constituency’s continued growth and stability.
According to the lawmaker, lasting political success depends on the cohesion of party members and stakeholders, urging leaders and residents alike to embrace reconciliation and forgiveness in the interest of the people.
Onyemaechi further commended the administration of for what he described as its commitment to infrastructure development, grassroots governance and improved welfare across Imo State. He noted that continued collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government has contributed to developmental progress in the state.
Reaffirming his mandate, the lawmaker pledged to sustain people-oriented legislation and effective representation aimed at improving the welfare of constituents, promoting security and advancing socio-economic development in Owerri West.
Leader IMHA, also assured Owerri West and in extension Imolites of best legislation in his time as a lawmaker alongside his Honourable colleagues.
He concluded by praying for divine guidance, protection and abundant blessings for the people throughout the month of July.
