Human rights activist Deji Adeyanju, sharing his posts on X account, addressed the prospects of a united opposition coalition ahead of of 2027 election, led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
He argued that for such a coalition to proceed, politicians like Atiku Abubakar and Obi must step aside and allow a neutral candidate to emerge.
“I’m 100% convinced that Obi worked for Tinubu in 2023; and will do so again. I may be wrong, but I’m convinced in my mind about this”, Adeyanji said.
“Once a business man, always a business man. Those still in doubt will see the clear handwriting before 2027. He will refuse to join any coalition”.
Adeyanju added, “Kwankwaso also worked for Tinubu. For the coalition to succeed, all the self-centered politician like Atiku and Obi should promise not to run and allow neutral figures to contest against Tinubu”.
