The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has expressed surprise over speculations that former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, may return to the ruling party.
Ganduje recalled that Kwankwaso had in the past dismissed the APC as a “mad party,” questioning why he would now consider rejoining it.
“I’m surprised to hear that Kwankwaso will return to the APC after he had described the party as mad. They have now vomited and licked it, and he once said President Tinubu doesn’t know how to govern, only building Lagos with Nigeria’s money,” Ganduje said.
The APC chairman’s comments follows ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
