Lagos wife allegedly files for divorce one month after wedding, gives shocking reason

A newly wed couple in Lagos has officially parted ways just one month after their wedding as the wife Temilade Balogun, sought a divorce due to her husband’s high szx drive, which she claimed she could no longer cope with.

The couple, who tied the knot on February 2025 in Surulere, Lagos, reportedly decided to dissolve their marriage after realizing they were not compatible in their intimate life.

Speaking about her reasons for the split, Temilade stated that she was tired of her husband’s constant desire for intimacy.

“My husband love szx to much, he doesn’t get tired easily, whenever he comes back from work, he prefers having szx over anything else. I wish I know all these before we got married because I no longer have peace of mind”, she lamented.

Her husband whose name was not disclosed, also confirmed their incompatibility and admitted that he would rather end the marriage than seek satisfaction outside.

“I would prefer breaking up because I can’t go out to have szx with another woman while I have a wife at home. I paid all necessary marriage rites. The mistake I made was not sleeping with her before we got married since our church rules are against it. I wish we have known more about our szxual preferences before getting married”, he stated.

He further reveal that his ex-wife gets tired within minutes of their encounters, a situation he found frustrating.

The story has sparked reactions, with many online users debating the importance of discussing intimacy and compatibility before marriage.

While some sympathized with the couple, others argued that such differences should have been addressed before their union. With their separation finalized, both individuals are now moving on with their lives, having learned what they described as a hard lesson in marital journey.
