I know Collins Opuruzo. But l can not claim to have known Matthew Chima Amadi. I had only met with him once, and that was, with other members of the lndependent Newspaper Publishers Association, (INPA), lmo State. It was a media related interaction, between him and the Publishers. A very brief encounter. At the end, we all dispersed, as if we were from an evening devotion. I have not also spoken with him.

So, this trip won’t be about him or about Opuruzo. I am only going to leverage or hide under the accusation of Amadi, being an “occultist”, to say something or to say certain things. The accusation came from Opuruzo. And we roll together.

l had had reason or cause, to write or say, sometime ago, that, if Amadi, who is contesting the 2027 election for Owerri Zone Senate seat, on the platform of Action Peoples Party, APP, wins at the end of the day , the credit of his victory, should be shared in this order or ratio or percentage. After giving GOD the whole GLORY, the 3R government in the State, should be given seventy percent (70%), while Amadi and his team, should do whatever they like, with the remaining thirty percent (30%).

It was the 3R government’s handlers or agents, who introduced Amadi to the rest of lmo people. And they have, unknown to them, sustained the rally or campaign in favour of the man. They’ve made the Ngor Okpala born politician, the Candidate to watch. The Candidate to behold. The candidate to beat. Very attractive to a lot of participants and, to onlookers, as well.

It was the persistent and consistent media campagns on Amadi, by the 3R government faithful, that made me to begin to follow or watch the man’s activities or style with enthusiasm. I then discovered that, he came with Amah Chibuzor lwuagwu’s style in 2003. And then, Rochas Okorocha’s style in 2011. A very dangerous style.

CAMPAIGN BUSES IN A SEASON OF ECONOMIC PAIN: WHAT ARE NIGERIA’S POLITICAL PRIORITIES?

No lmo man or woman, had heard about Amah lwuagwu until that 2003, when he came to run for Owerri Zone Senate. He landed, and refused to lean on the “able-bodied men” or sons of Anak (giants), or on the “apex leaders”. He engaged the people directly. Those who could trek for two kilometres for a candidate, without counting the cost, and not those who had penchant or addicted to “High Table” seats. Those who felt that, it was their birth right to sit on the High table. Iwuagwu submerged the high-table men, stopped Evans Enwerem, who wanted to return to the Senate. Got his PDP ticket. Engaged those who owned the polling units. Most of them, not having bicycles, talk more, having cars. And they delivered him. He won the main election, landslide. Those l am talking about here, can stop the sons of Anak, (the giants), from even voting. Iwuagwu died in 2005. May his Soul, continue to rest in the bossom of the LORD, Amen.

Okorocha came with a similar style in 2011, for the governorship of lmo State. He equally engaged the “mobile” electorate. Not the giants. He had only two average giants, in the whole of lmo, Chief Patrick Onuoha and Prof. Anthony Awuka. Okorocha’s own giants. One, a former University Vice Chancellor and new in politics. Onuoha, a moderate lmo politician. The “mobile” electorate, delivered Okorocha. Those working for the incumbent governor then, His Excellency, Chief lkedi Ohakim, had engaged Okorocha, instead of engaging lmo people. They also came with the issue of Okorocha being an ocultist. And so on. I wrote a piece, advising Ohakim’s people to leave Okorocha alone, and talk to lmo people. Engage lmo people. They were not forthcoming. They didn’t take my candid advice. They paid dearly for that. The rest became history.

That’s the style Amadi of Ngor Okpala, had come with. He’s not working with the political giants or sons of Anak in Ngor Okpala or in lmo, at large. He’s dealing directly with the opposites of the giants or “able-bodied men”, or sons of Anak. Dealing with non-giants. Non “able-bodied men”, and non sons of Anak. And it’s dangerous. Making them to emotionally feel that, the giants, are their main opponents or problems or headache.

Even Amadi’s party, APP, does not have giants in lmo and even in his Ngor Okpala. In lmo, Amadi, Ugochinyere, who else? I do not know. In Ngor Okpala, the known political giants, the sons of Anak or the “able-bodied men” are known. Well known, to all and sundry. And they are mostly in the ruling Party, APC. Okenze Sylvester Obinna, Hon Bede Eke, Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu, Amadioha Ngor Okpala, and few others, are the known political giants in Ngor Okpala, with fat experience in political schemings or “ororograhies”. And Amadi, with his activities or “garagara”, are raising “resistant army” for himself, against these giants.

So, by always talking or writing about Amadi, the 3R Government handlers or agents, are assisting him, in building his “bottom-class” structures to work for him against the giants. The 3R apostles have not seen the need or the efficacy or the wisdom, in stopping their repeated or consistent campaigns in “favour” of Amadi, while thinking that, they’re fighting him. They’ve continued to acknowledge the man’s “onslaught” or strength. They’ve assisted the man to erect a political kingdom overnight.

There are certain things you write or say about someone, thinking that you’re dragging the person down, without your knowing that, you are elevating the person. You’re taking the person to his or her next level. If Haman had known that, his plot or his campaign of calumny against Mordecai, and the rest of the Jews, would end up, making Mordecai king, and costing him his own life, he would have exercised caution. He would have soft-pedaled.(Esther 8). There are many ways to tell others that, somebody is outstanding. Or, somebody is loaded, both inside and outside.

APC has a very strong candidate for the Owerri Zone Senate contest , Alex Mbata, and the man has been doing very well on his own. But why can’t these 3R Government disciples leave Amadi and his style alone, and concentrate on preaching the good news about Alex Mbata?. The logic is that, when the government’s people are writing repeatedly about a particular candidate, the tendency of the rest of the people seeing the candidate in question as ideal or exceptional, is there. That’s the scenario, as we write or speak.

In 2023, Alex Mbata had worked hard to win the Owerri Zone Senate election. But he was a victim of the conspiracy of his own “able-bodied men”. The sons of Anak. The giants. Who had pretended to be supporting him. He took them into confidence. The rest became history. Ugly history. Bitter narrative. He is also working hard this time to win. May he not be victim of the antics of the giants or sons of Anak again, in Jesus Name, say Amen. We are making progress. The sons of Anak and their way. Their modus operandi.

Now, the accusation of Amadi being an occultist. I do not know how to identify someone who is an occultist. But if you ask me, there is nothing like occultism. It’s a scam. A smokescreen. And anybody joining an occultic group, including Amadi, if actually he is a member as accused, must have done so, out of ignorance. Acute ignorance. But can an occultist, comfortably kneel down at the altar of the Most High GOD, and allow Bishops and other great men of GOD, with annointing, to lay their hands on his head for prayers?. I do not think so. That would be a contradiction. I have seen Amadi’s video, kneeling down on the altars of some Churches, both orthodox and Pentecoastal, with Bishops and Senior Ministers, placing their hands on his head for prayers. For me, that was a total submission to GOD. To YAWEH. To THE MOST HIGH. TO JEHOVA. Total submission to the whims and caprices of THE MOST HIGH GOD. Do you understand now ?. We are on the right path.

When people try to associate the success of anybody with ocultism, l always conclude that, such folks, perhaps, out of ignorance too, are giving the glory of GOD to something else. To an imagination. To something that does not exist in reality. In real life situation.

The Advanced Learners’ Dictionary defined Occult, as “connected with magic powers and things that can not be explained by science or reason”. Magic power. The same Dictionary defined Magic as ” the secret power of appearing to make impossible things happen, by saying special words or doing special things”. This is 419. Emphasis, mine.

Follow me closely. When we were growing up, we heard unimaginable stories of how Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and Chief Obafemi Awolowo were above human destruction. How they were disappearing and reappearing. Now read my lips correctly.

The same Awolowo, born in March 1909, died in 1987. At the age of 78. Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, born on Nov. 16, 1904, died on May 11, 1996. Died at 92. But my father’s elder brother, Jacob Onwuemeodo, a typical village man, died at 104. My own father died at 89. I hope, you’re following?. I have been telling you something or certain things.

General Aguiyi lronsi had big elephant tusk or whatever it was called. And the story was that, the elephant tusk he was always moving with, had some powers that could save him from danger or attack. But the day Ngerian soldiers caught him, the elephant tusk could not act. He was killed by his captors.

Ishiola Oyenusi was a dreaded armed robber. Ditto, Lawrence Anini. The stories were that, they could vanish, or they could disappear and reappear. Only one police officer, Sgt Benjamine Olu, in mufti, arrested Oyenusi. He was executed at bar beach on September 8, 1971.

The case of Anini was more dramatic and interesting. It was when he was arrested that, he told Nigerians that, he wasn’t disappearing and reappearing. Rather, it was ASP Iyamu, a Senior Police Officer and the leader of the anti-robbery squad, that was giving him information about the schedule or movement of the anti-robbery team. He was executed with Iyamu.

Akwa okuko tiwara aki, came with his own moonlight tales. Made his billions from the ignorant “money bags”. Kidnappers abducted him. He could not disappear. He paid ransome to secure his freedom. Today, he is standing trial for his deceits. The one called, Okara mmadu, okaramuo, came with his own cock and bull stories. Had his victims and took his leave. I wish you would know why l am going the whole hog.

People should stop believing or promoting balderdash. Rubbish. Imaginations. Deceits. CHRIST is the SOLID ROCK. Every other ground, is sinking sand. The story of Tortise and the wife, Alii.

It is also interesting to point out that, most of the candidates, across the parties, in the State, contesting the 2027 election for various offices, never spent money to get their tickets. To become candidates. Most of them did not even pay for the nomination forms. The forms were secured and handed over to them. And from all indications, they are seeing or looking at the main election from that perspective. From that angle. And that may be the case or may not be the case. The election proper, is going to be different from the party primaries. To be on the safe side, the candidates must work hard for their respective or individual victories in the 2027 poll.

While we continue to clap for JESUS KRIST.
