Kylian Mbappe has etched his name into Real Madrid folklore after scoring his 59th goal after 2025 calendar year, equaling Cristiano Ronaldo’s long standing club record set in 2013.

The French forward reached the milestone in emphatic fashion, underlined his rapid adaption to life at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo’s 59-goal haul had stood as a benchmark for over a decade, symbolizing one of the most dominant individual seasons in modern football.

Mbappe’s achievement places him alongside the Portuguese legend, reinforcing comparison that have followed him since his teenage breakthrough.

Beyond the numbers, the record reflects Mbappe’s growing influence at Madrid where he had become the focal point of the attack and a decisive figure in big moments.

With the season still ongoing, the question now is not just about matching history, but whether Mbappe will surpass it and set a new standard of his own.
