
Aishatu Umar Bubaram from Yobe State is the first female from Northern Nigeria to be appointed into Executive position of First Bank of Nigeria (FBN).
Princess Aisha, a daughter of Mai Postiskum, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Bubaram Ibn Wuriya Bauya, with decades of banking experience, made history as the first female Northern Nigeria to assume the executive management position in First Bank.
Aishatu Bubaram was appointed Group Executive, Commercial Banking North Division, First Bank in January 2023, she has had several leadership position in the banking industry.
She brings the Executive Management of First Bank, a significant wealth of experience with expertise in Commercial Banking, Public Sector, Private Banking, Banking Operations and Services, Strategy Business Development, Risk Management and Advisory.
She is an excellent administrator with working acknowledge in Islamic Finance.
She joined the Bank in 2009 and preceding her career in first Bank.
Aishatu had earlier worked at the United Bank for Africa, and Standard Trust Bank, for years, during which she held various responsibilities in Operations and Retail Businesses.
Outside her professional career and in pursuit of her passion for humanitarian support, Aishatu founded a non-governmental organisation, Hearty Hands Foundation where she is a member of the Board of Trustees and Co-Chairman.
The foundation seek to improve the lives of underprivileged citizens especially women and children, with special focus on malnourished children, and to encourage children education and capacity building for women.
She is highly motivated individual and a passionate team player.
Aishatu Bubaram is happily married with children.
