Meet the man who hoisted Labour Party flag at the top of mount Kilimanjaro [Photos]

He is Gershon Ogbuluijah, a native of Ataba in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria

The Ataba man 62, is the oldest man in history to get to the top of Kilimanjaro.

He climbed Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro for 10 and a half hours to place the Labour Party – LP party’s flag at the Uhuru Peak.

OGersh shared a picture of himself at Uhuru Peak on Twitter, Tuesday saying, “On Fri, 20/10/2022 after 10½ hrs of climbing, hiking and trekking, I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level. There is no better place to announce the coming of a New Nigeria than the rooftop of Africa.”

Labour Party in Nigeria is the elevation on which His Excellency Peter Obi, former State Governor of Anambra State is standing on to seek the forthcoming election to the office of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023.
