Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex, are expecting a baby early 2019.
The British Royals announced this on Twitter early Monday, stating that the baby is expected in Spring 2019.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” the Kensington Palace tweeted.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
The 2019 Spring is expected to span from March 21 to June 21 — but with a 12-week scan already done, Meghan may have her baby late April or early May.
The duo got married in May 2018, in what was one of the most celebrated weddings in British History, with over one billion viewers from all over the world.
The news of their pregnancy comes just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Sydney, Australia for their first major international tour.
The baby is expected to be the seventh-in-line to the British throne, after Prince Charles, Prince of Wales; Prince William, Duke of Cambridge; Prince George of Cambridge; Princess Charlotte of Cambridge; Prince Louis of Cambridge; and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
