The Nigerian Senate’s leadership has announced the generous donation of N109 million, equivalent to the December salaries of its members, to support the victims affected by the accidental bombing in Tudun Biri village, located in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, made this announcement on Sunday during a visit to the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna. The delegation from the Senate expressed their sympathy and support for the governor and the affected individuals.

It is important to recall that on December 5th, the Nigerian Army took responsibility for unintentionally bombing the village of Tudun Biri in Kaduna State. In a display of solidarity and compassion, the Senate has demonstrated its commitment to providing support and aid to those affected by this tragic accident. The donation aims to alleviate some of the burdens faced by the victims and their families during this challenging time.

This generous act reflects the Senate’s dedication to serving the Nigerian people and upholding their responsibilities as elected officials. It is a testament to their empathy and commitment to fostering unity and supporting communities in times of crisis.
