Police Seek Public Assistance to Reunite Child with Family
The Igwuruta Police Station in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State is seeking the assistance of members of the public to reunite a five-year-old girl, identified as Testimony Shaddy, with her family.
According to information made available, the young girl is from Kwale in Delta State and was found after reportedly losing her way while attempting to locate her mother at a farm.
The child reportedly told those who came to her aid that her father is an okada rider and that she was on her way to meet her mother at the farm when she became lost and could no longer find her way.
A concerned Good Samaritan who found the child subsequently took her to the Igwuruta Police Station, where she is currently being kept safely pending efforts to identify and locate her family.
Authorities and concerned members of the public are therefore appealing to anyone who may recognise the child or have information about her parents, relatives or place of residence to come forward.
Anyone with useful information that could assist in reuniting Testimony Shaddy with her family is kindly urged to visit or contact the Igwuruta Police Station, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State, as soon as possible.
