Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has revealed that the death of late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, was as a result of mishandling of the injury he sustained after a physical brawl with his childhood friend, Ibrahim Owodunni aka Primeboy, in Ikorodu, Lagos.
CP Owohunwa revealed this at a press briefing on the state of affairs regarding the investigations into the rapper’s death.
The CP clarified that the fight occurred at the end of the late rapper’s last show in Ikorodu.
He stressed that the injury sustained by Mohbad from the brawl was not properly attended to, which eventually resulted in his untimely death.
“At the end of the show, Mohbad and Ibrahim were engaged in a violent fight, during which Mohbad was injured. The management of the injury subsequently resulted in his death. So he is being treated as a suspect.” The CP reads.
