Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr says he and his wife have never argued in the 17 years of marriage.
During a testimony, Bishop David Oyedepo first son shared that his marriage has been free from argumemts, describing their journey as one peace of mutual understanding.
D.avid Oyedepo Jnr. son of Living Faith Church founder Bishop David Oyedepo, has revealed that he and his wife, Kemi have enjoyed 17 years of marriage without single argument.
Speaking during a recent church gathering, the 42-year-old Pastor attributed the peace in their union to a deliberate, scripture-based decision made from the very beginning of their relationship.
He recalled how, while still in courtship, he once heard a preacher emphasize that marriage comes with “troubles in the flesh” -‘a message he rejected after studying the Holy Bible for himself.
“I said no, I am not married yet, and I don’t want to register for any kind of trouble”, he explained.
“If you are not be enlightened, you will end up damaged. Deception is simply corrupting the truth”
Rejecting the belief that conflict is inevitable in marriage, Oyedepo Jnr told his fiancee at that time that their home would be free from quarrels.
“Our wedding anniversary was in July. In our 17 years of marriage we have not had one argument. Not a single day of raising voices at each other”, he said calling the notion of couples must fight ” a lie from hell”.
David Oyedepo Jnr. got married in 2008.
