**In a decisive move against counterfeit beverages, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has apprehended Anthony Chidi at Mile 3 Market, Diobu, Port Harcourt, for producing and distributing fake alcoholic drinks under hazardous and unsanitary conditions.
During the raid, officials uncovered a disturbing operation where Chidi and his team washed and reused dirty bottles of popular whisky brands and Seaman Schnapps.
The illicit setup also included ethanol, counterfeit bottle caps, and packaging materials, pointing to a well-organised scheme to deceive unsuspecting consumers.
