National Assembly Holds Valedictory Session For Late Sen. Ubah’s Remains

The Nigerian Senate, presided over by Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio and other senators, received the remains of their late colleague, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, for a Valedictory Session at the National Assembly.

A few weeks ago, the sudden death of Senator Ubah, who represented one of the Senatorial Districts in Anambra State, was announced. Sources revealed that he passed away in the United Kingdom, where he had gone for medical treatment. He died at the age of 52 on July 26, 2024.

The Nigerian Senate organized a Valedictory Session in honor of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, attended by his colleagues. The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, represented the President at the session, which also saw the participation of former Senate President Bukola Saraki and other notable government officials.

Senator Ubah’s remains will be laid to rest this weekend in his hometown in Anambra State.
